(Three lions dance round balls)

The work is made of Burma Jadeite. Three lions are dancing together and playing with three balls as a ribbon is threaded through them. Performing the lion-dance is a traditional ceremony held on significant occasions like the Chinese New Year or a great harvest. The scene of jubilation has remained popular among Chinese people over thousands of years for its implications of happiness and good luck.
