Song He Yan Nian (May your life be as long as the pines and the cranes!)
The work is made of Burma Jadeite. On the lower right corner grows a peach tree heavy with fruits. Under the tree, God of Longevity with a halo holds a peach with his left hand while the other hand of his leaning on a dragon head-like walking stick. Two cranes are with him and right-hand in front is a running fawn. An age-old pine, enveloped by a propitious cloud, has become a heaven for a flock of cranes. The back of the work is made up of patterns of glossy ganodermas, copper coins as well as a palm-leaf fan. All these patterns are considered in China as signs of good luck so the work displays wishes for happiness and long life.
